Our Story...
OnTarget Software was started after I did some ammo testing and was looking for a way to measure my shot groups, and analyze the results. I was unable to find a program that would let me easily work from an image, so in 2007 I started development of the OnTarget Precision Calculator. The program was first released as freeware in 2008, followed by an improved version with a nominal license fee in 2011. Other projects followed including, OnTarget TDS, bench rest scoring programs, and several custom projects. I'm currently working on several new projects that I hope to release in the near future.

When it comes to the OnTarget Software team, I'm the day-to-day guy. But OnTarget wouldn't exist without the support and encouragement of my family and friends. To them I'd like to say "Thank your very much, I really appreciate everything you've done".
Jeff
Founder, Engineer, and more...
Jeff, the taller one, is the creator of the OnTarget programs and founder of OnTarget Software. He's spent his career in a variety of technical positions including the last 25 years as a professional software engineer. In his off time he competes in metallic silhouette, and enjoys shooting long range rifles and a variety of handguns.
Max, the smaller fuzzy one, keeps the place secure by harassing squirrels and chasing off the UPS guy.
